Metal Lath 27" × 98" is the layer that makes veneer and mortar installations hold the way they should. Mortar needs something to grab. Without a proper bonding surface, veneer can crack, shift, or separate from the wall.

Metal lath provides that grip. Its expanded mesh design allows mortar to lock in and cure around the wire, creating a strong, stable base for whatever goes on top.

It’s a simple step, but it’s one of the most important in getting veneer installs right the first time.

Installed over framing or substrate, metal lath creates a mechanical bond for mortar, giving stone veneer, stucco, and other finishes something solid to grip to. It’s a critical step in any vertical application where adhesion, durability, and long-term performance matter.
