Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy for online purchases, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible, the item must be in the same condition as when you received it—unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return, contact us at marketing@american-stone.com. Once approved, we’ll provide a return shipping label and instructions. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You can always reach out with return-related questions at the same email address.

Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item. This helps us address and resolve the issue quickly.

Some items are not eligible for return. These include perishable goods such as food, flowers, or plants; custom products like special orders or personalized items; and personal care items such as beauty products. We also cannot accept returns of hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. If you’re unsure whether your item qualifies, reach out to us before initiating a return. Please note that sale items and gift cards are not returnable.

If you need a different item, the fastest option is to return the original item (once approved) and place a new order for the product you want.

For orders shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason and without justification. As with all returns, the item must be unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

After we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you if your refund is approved. If so, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, contact us at marketing@american-stone.com.

Our Current Return Policy

For in-store purchases, we accept returns within 60 days of the original purchase date with a receipt. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Refunds or exchanges are not available for cast stone or special order items. This includes manufactured stone products, custom cuts, drilled stone, sandblast carving, clearance items, and discounted full pallets of stone. Claims for shortages or defects must be made within five days of delivery. Returned items must be in like-new condition and in their original packaging. American Stone reserves the right to deny returns or refunds at its discretion under this policy. If you paid with cash, your refund will be issued by check, which may take up to 21 days.

For online purchases, returns or exchanges can be made within 60 days of receipt with a valid receipt. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. As with in-store sales, we do not accept returns on cast stone, special orders, clearance items, or discounted full pallets. Claims for shortages or defects must be made within five days of delivery. Returns of eligible natural stone products will incur a 25% restocking fee and may also include additional shipping costs. Items must be returned in like-new condition and in original packaging. American Stone reserves the right to deny returns or refunds at its discretion under this policy.

Refunds for online payments will be issued to the original payment method. Once a refund is processed, the receiving bank assumes responsibility for those funds. It may take up to 10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

These are your exclusive remedies. All other remedies are excluded. We specifically disclaim all warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

American Stone Sales, Inc. is not responsible for any damage to persons or property that may occur when we assist in loading stone products or merchandise into your vehicle. Similarly, we are not responsible for damage sustained during shipping or delivery, or any injury or property damage that may occur in that process. Any claims for damage during shipping must be made directly with the shipping or delivery company.
