SB-1300 Joint Stabilizing Sealer is a water-based, single-component, acrylic co-polymer sealer and joint sand stabilizer. It can be used inside and outside, on old and new, horizontal or vertical surfaces to provide surface protection and stabilize newly installed joint sand in one application process. SB-1300 can be applied immediately after surface installation, as it is breathable and will not trap naturally occurring efflorescence. This breathability feature also decreases freeze-thaw damage and improves surface durability and ease of maintenance. SB-1300 is non-hazardous and VOC/EPA compliant. SB-1300 has the consistency of water, is milky white when applied and dries clear with a matte finish. Cured sealer is freeze-resistant to -60°F (-51°C) and is stable up to a temperature of 180°F (82°C).

Q: What type of finish does SB-1300 produce?
A: A natural matte finish that enhances surface tone without adding gloss.

Q: Can I use this on natural stone or only on pavers?
A: SB-1300 is safe for both, but always test a small area first. Some dense stones may not absorb evenly.

Q: Does this prevent joint sand washout?
A: Yes. It stabilizes joint sand to resist erosion, weed growth, and insect intrusion.

Q: How often should I reseal my surface?
A: Typically every 2–3 years, depending on exposure and traffic.
