Introducing Honey Crest™ Travertine

A new stone from Northern Utah. A completely new look for the Mountain West.

Quarried in the mountains of Northern Utah, Honey Crest brings together a soft gray foundation, warm honey tones, and subtle crystalline texture that catches and reflects light across every piece. It feels natural to the Mountain West while offering a look unlike the familiar reds, golds and grays that have defined so many regional landscapes.

It's new. It's American. And it's worth seeing in person.

Honey Crest is the newest chapter in American Stone's quarry story. We own and operate quarries across the West, and in 2026 we're introducing material from our Honey Crest Quarry in Northern Utah. That means this isn't simply another stone we've found and added to the catalog.

Our quarry-direct model gives us the ability to develop Honey Crest across multiple applications, creating a family of products that can work together throughout an entire project.

Natural Stone with Mountain Modern Character.

We've developed the Honey Crest™ line across multiple formats so designers, contractors and homeowners can use the same natural material throughout a project.

Honey Crest™
3–5" Builders

Build substantial natural walls and landscape structure.

Natural wall stone with the substantial character of full-bed stone. Use it for retaining and landscape walls, garden walls, seat walls, landscape structure, and architectural accents.

Honey Crest™
1–3" Ridgestone

Create transitions, edging and layered detail.

Smaller, thinner pieces designed to create transitions, layering and natural movement. Use it for: retaining walls, decorative walls, facades, fireplaces, and landscape accents.

The thinner profile makes Ridgestone particularly useful when you want to soften the transition between hardscape and landscape.

Honey Crest™
Crushed

Bring the Honey Crest look across more of the landscape. Honey Crest Crushed combines the same soft gray, warm honey tones and natural character in a crushed material designed for ground cover, pathways, transitions and landscape areas.

Available Sizes: 1" Minus | 2" Minus

Great For: Pathways • Ground Cover • Xeriscape • Landscape Beds • Transitions • Around Boulders & Builders

Build It Right Tip: Because both sizes include crusher fines, consider drainage, grade and the intended use before choosing your material. For a more compacted walking surface, the smaller 1" Minus will generally give you a tighter finished surface; use 2" Minus when you want a larger, more pronounced stone texture.

Why Honey Crest™ Is Different

The first thing you'll notice is the color. A soft gray base provides a modern foundation, while warm honey tones keep it from feeling cold or overly contemporary. Subtle crystalline characteristics add movement as light changes throughout the day.

It's a combination that works particularly well with:

  • Natural wood
  • Warm stucco
  • Modern architecture
  • Mountain homes
  • Native landscaping
  • Xeriscaping
  • Modern farmhouse design

Talk To A Stone Expert

The Look of Modern Mountain Luxury

The look of Western architecture is changing. We're seeing more homeowners and designers move toward Mountain Modern, cleaner architectural lines, natural materials, warm neutrals and landscapes that feel connected to their surroundings.

Honey Crest fits naturally into that conversation. It doesn't try to look manufactured or loud, it has enough character to be noticed and enough restraint to work with almost anything.

Build It Right™ with Honey Crest

At American Stone, we don't believe a beautiful project starts with picking the prettiest stone.

It starts with understanding the entire project.

  • Base. Proper preparation and drainage.
  • Surface. Patio stone, pavers and walking surfaces.
  • Features. Fire pits, walls, water features and outdoor living spaces.
  • Finish. Boulders, rubble, Ridgestone and the details that make the project feel complete.

Honey Crest gives you the ability to carry that same natural material through multiple stages of the project. One quarry. One color story. Multiple applications.

See What Honey Crest Can Do

Honey Crest isn't a stone you fully understand from a screen. Come in and see it.

Walk through the material. Turn a piece over. See how the color changes in the light. Put the wall rock next to the rubble. Look at the boulders beside the guillotined stone. Then you can start imagining what it could do in your project.

Honey Crest is available at American Stone.
