Q: Is Blue Heat really safe for pets?
A: Yes. Blue Heat is designed with environmental safety in mind, significantly reducing the risk of "paw burn" or irritation compared to harsh calcium chloride or straight rock salt.

Q: Will the blue color stain my sidewalk or carpet?
A: No. The blue tracking dye is non-staining. It is designed to help you see where you’ve applied the product to prevent over-salting, then it dissolves away cleanly.

Q: How much should I apply?
A: For best results, apply 2-4 oz per square yard. The blue tint makes it easy to see if you have achieved even coverage without wasting product.

Q: Is it safe for new concrete?
A: While Blue Heat is less corrosive than rock salt, we recommend caution on concrete less than one year old. For new concrete, mechanical snow removal is always the safest option.
